“Inspiring Scientific Temper Beyond Boundaries”
What inspired us to do so ?
The establishment of the CSLC Science Museum and Planetarium was envisioned as a transformative initiative to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and young minds, especially those belonging to rural and remote regions
A major inspiration behind the development of this facility was the technological hindrance faced by rural students. While urban students often have greater exposure to advanced scientific tools, digital learning environments, and interactive educational resources, many students from rural areas continue to lack access to such opportunities. This disparity not only limits scientific curiosity but also affects confidence, creativity, and awareness regarding emerging technologies and career pathways.
The CSLC Science Museum and Planetarium was therefore conceptualized as a platform to democratize scientific learning and provide equal exposure to all learners. By integrating immersive technologies such as Planetarium experiences, AR/VR learning modules, interactive science exhibits, and hands-on experimentation zones, the museum aims to make science engaging, accessible, and experiential for every visitor.
More than just a museum, CSLC serves as a center for inspiration, curiosity, and experiential learning — empowering students from all backgrounds to connect with science and technology in meaningful ways and preparing them for the rapidly evolving world of the future.
